Launched in 1999, Chanel J12 is considered a first unisex watch of the House. It was designed by the artistic director of the house, Jacques Hélleu, who found inspiration in the two worlds he loved most: automobiles and sailing. He was also the one who created Chanel’s first watch in 1987 - the Première cocktail watch, inspired by Coco Chanel’s favourite place in Paris - Place Vendome.
