“Love for a Heart”

For me, the most beautiful thing about fashion are the stories and meanings behind design that are quietly told and not always understood, a perfect example of, if you know, you know!
When people pass comment on design without truly understanding the concept, or why that particular colour, fabric, silhouette was chosen - you know a true artist will always have some hidden meaning or secret story to accompany it, making it that bit extra special.

The glorious red fox fur heart shaped cape was from #HediSlimanes finale collection “Part 2”in 2016 was His #love Letter to #paris before he exited the House of Yves Saint Laurent. A seven year position he held as Creative Director.

As finale bow was showcased at Paris Fashion Week & with a strict no phones policy in place this Rouge delight wasn’t as heavily documented until a little later, but in doing so it gate-kept its splendour for the true connoisseurs of fashion who most definitely coveted this for their archives.

It has been worn by some of the industry’s most fashion forward & elite, sported on the cover of W Magazine by English rose Cara Delevingne, shot by Mario Sorrenti, and Anna Dello Russo in 2017 for the Armani spring show.
