"Oscar de la Renta was one of the American fashion industry's most-loved, and celebrated, designers - remaining a presence in the industry right up to his death in October 2014. His elegant and feminine designs gained him a loyal and dedicated fan base, which through the years included everyone from Jackie Kennedy to Audrey Hepburn, Sarah Jessica Parker and Nicole Kidman."

This vintage 1970's Oscar de la Renta couture boutique Jumpsuit stocked here at Parisian Sweet is a dramatic showpiece, not for the faint-hearted. A spectacular piece of fashion history, the jumpsuit is redolent of Bianca Jagger and Studio 54 yet robust and highly wearable today. This exquisite piece features all-over black hand-sewn zig zag sequin strips with wonderful full lace sleeves that billow out. The delicate cuffs have extra glistening sequins and fasten close with three snap studs. This jumpsuit has a zip to the front and back, making it easy for the wearer to slip into without damaging this robust but netted dream. The trousers are straight leg with an extraordinary netted and tulle sheer over skirt with more hand-sewn delicate sequin rings- it has been fully lined. The weight of the fabric gives the piece great structure and movement. See model Dulcie Atkinson wearing the piece below in a short film for Parisian Sweet.
